Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support a company in the outdoor industry, the full-time Staff Accountant will manage accounts receivable and payable, prepare journal entries, and run reports using NetSuite, all while working remotely from the Portland metro area.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage A/R, A/P, journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close processes
• Run financial reports from NetSuite to support accounting functions
• Perform thorough reconciliations and resolve any variances efficiently

Required qualifications:

• Demonstrated hands-on experience using NetSuite in an accounting environment
• Practical background in both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
• Experience preparing journal entries and working with general ledger activities
• Associate degree in accounting or equivalent accounting experience
• Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines while working remotely
