Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and experienced, the full-time Staff Accountant will support day-to-day accounting operations, execute month-end close processes, and maintain the integrity of the general ledger in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month-end and quarter-end close processes for accurate financial reporting
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules in compliance with US GAAP
• Support external audits and tax preparation by providing necessary documentation and schedules

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• 3-5 years of accounting experience, with public accounting experience preferred
• Hands-on experience with ICFR documentation and PCAOB audit support
• Strong working knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
• Experience with multi-entity accounting; financial services or broker-dealer experience is a strong plus
