Staff Accountant

Job Summary

Analyzing financial information and preparing reports, the full-time Staff Accountant will compile data, monitor compliance with accounting principles, and audit transactions while working fully remote.

Key responsibilities

• Compiles and analyzes financial information to prepare entries to accounts and document business transactions
• Prepares balance sheets and profit and loss statements to summarize and interpret the company's financial position
• Audits contracts and prepares reports to substantiate transactions prior to settlement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field
• One to two years of related experience or training
• Knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
• Experience with financial reporting and analysis
• Ability to implement and coordinate accounting systems and controls
