Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support a rapidly growing consumer products company, the full-time remote Staff Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries, analyze financial data, and assist with financial reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations to support month-end close activities
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances, assisting with financial reporting and audit requests
• Support inventory, cost accounting, and operational finance processes while driving process improvements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2-4 years of accounting experience, including public accounting and/or industry experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and month-end close processes
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• CPA or CPA-track candidates are encouraged to apply
