Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support the financial operations of a growing company, the full-time Staff Accountant will manage general accounting functions, including preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with sales tax regulations while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in month-end and year-end accounting close processes, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Manage inventory reconciliations and processing of inventory invoices and wire payments
• Support sales tax compliance by reconciling sales taxes owed and preparing necessary filings

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, retail, or manufacturing
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks or NetSuite
• Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting standards
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
