Staff Accountant

Job Summary

To support corporate financial operations, the full-time remote Staff Accountant will manage core accounting functions, including payroll reporting, month-end close activities, and maintaining internal controls across multiple locations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements while assisting with month-end and year-end close processes
• Manage accounting activities for multiple center locations, ensuring consistent treatment and analyzing store profitability
• Ensure compliance with GAAP, maintain internal controls, and support external audits and regulatory reporting requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and general ledger accounting
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and v-lookups
