Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company in the accounting industry is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide financial support to ensure efficient Accounting department procedures and processes
• Assist with month-end closing by preparing detailed account analysis, reconciliations, and all other required tasks
• Implement policy/process changes and suggest process improvements to Accounting Managers or Sr. Staff Accountants

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Active knowledge of accounting principles
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel with pivot tables and macros
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and handle multiple tasks
