Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company in the Accounting industry is looking for a Staff Accountant to support their Financial Reporting team.

Position Responsibilities

• Record financial transactions in assigned area of responsibility
• Analyze and reconcile Balance Sheet and Income Statement activity
• Prepare annual financial statements in conjunction with benefit plan audits

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance (minimum of 15 hours of accounting required)
• Cumulative 3.30 GPA and 3.50 GPA in major
• Expertise in Excel creating spreadsheets, using practical formulas, and working with large datasets
• Ability to work in a team-based environment, whether remotely or in the office
• Ability to provide support for other areas of the Company, including finance, tax, credit, information technology, etc. and identifying accounting related matters
