Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to join their Finance department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with accounting, payroll, tax filing, invoicing, bank account tracking and reconciliation, expense management, budgeting, and payment processing
• Manage the preparation and delivery of financial statements and notes
• Implement effective processes for cash receipts and disbursements, and communicate with external vendors regarding receivable collections

Required Qualifications:

• Bi-annual company retreats
• Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of accounting/finance experience at a growth-stage or late-stage startup, eCommerce or Marketplaces experience preferred
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and working knowledge of tax
• Advanced proficiency with quickbooks (QBO experience preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Analytical, organizational, and research abilities
