Job Summary
A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to take ownership of the general ledger, reconcile accounts, make journal entries, and provide analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the General Ledger and Trial Balance
- Complete monthly Balance Sheet and P&L account reconciliations, accruals, and variance analysis
- Support the invoice creation and distribution process
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of general accounting experience in a private corporate environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred
- Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including GAAP
- Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software is preferred but not required
