Staff Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant to assist with month-end close, journal entries, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily operational accounting processes, including journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist in implementing and maintaining internal controls and accounting procedures
• Support the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing process by preparing financial close workbooks and analyses

Required Qualifications:

• BA/BS or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, or Economics
• 2+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of closing processes and GAAP
• Strong Excel and data management skills
• Experience with ERP systems and QuickBooks preferred
