Staff Accountant, Cash

Job Summary

Supporting financial reporting activities, the full-time remote Staff Accountant, Cash will manage journal entries, account reconciliations, and assist with month-end and year-end close processes while ensuring compliance and accuracy in cash accounting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepares journal entries and supporting analysis for monthly and quarterly close processes
• Completes account reconciliations for general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies
• Supports internal and external audit requests by compiling and preparing necessary documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related financial operations required
• Experience with general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statement preparation highly preferred
• Cash accounting experience highly preferred
• A combination of education and experience in accounting or finance may be considered in lieu of a degree
