Staff Accountant, CPA Preferred

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, Corporate Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the accuracy and completeness of assigned accounting tasks
• Assist with core accounting processes including monthly close, fixed asset tracking, and lease accounting
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards while supporting audit preparedness

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in corporate accounting
• Strong foundational knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls
• Experience with process improvement initiatives
• Interest in pursuing CPA licensure or having passed sections of the CPA exam
• Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or publicly traded company is a plus
