Staff Accountant (CPA Preferred)

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant (Finance).

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly journal entries and financial reporting
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with audit requirements
• Participate in financial planning, analysis, and special projects as needed

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Bachelor's Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required
• Minimum of three years' experience in corporate and/or public accounting or finance roles required
• Working towards CPA designation is a plus
• Hands-on accounting experience within the Property and Casualty Insurance industry is desired, but not required
• Intermediate to Expert level proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required
