Staff Accountant, Expense

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, Expense.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage monthly expense recognition, ensuring proper classification, accruals, and deferrals
• Record fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, and amortization, and perform balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support the annual audit process and participate in special projects as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting or a related field
• Understanding of U.S. GAAP and core accounting principles
• SaaS industry experience preferred
• Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables and formulas
• Working knowledge of Workday or similar accounting systems
