Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant with GovCon experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Process payroll cycles, audit payroll reports, and resolve discrepancies
• Review and process vendor invoices and employee expense reports, ensuring proper approvals and reconciliations
• Assist with payroll tax reporting and support audit activities by compiling financial data

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum 2 years' accounting experience, specifically in a government contracting environment
• Demonstrated experience with payroll, accounts payable, and expense processing
• Strong understanding of GAAP principles
• Advanced Excel proficiency
