Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant II - Merchandise Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Perform accurate 3-way matching of purchase orders, receipts, and invoices
Manage inventory in-transit balances and support accruals for shipments
Analyze inventory aging, cost variances, and operational discrepancies

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting required
5+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience
Inventory accounting experience and knowledge of US GAAP
Experience with ERP systems required, preferably PeopleSoft
Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate variances
