Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant - Loan Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations for loan-related accounts
Support the month-end close process by preparing journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations
Assist with the preparation of financial statements and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements

Required Qualifications

BA/BS in Accounting required
At least 2 years of relevant work experience in Loan Accounting or a similar role
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with SAGE, Netsuite, or WorkDay preferred
Strong understanding of US GAAP
Flexible and adaptable, able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
