Staff Accountant, New Jersey

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, Fuels and Emissions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting, reporting, and analysis of fuel inventory activity on a monthly, quarterly, and yearly basis
• Collaborate with the Commercial Operations team to manage fuel inventory within the subledger system
• Complete monthly accounting close, including journal entry preparation and balance sheet reconciliations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance with 0-2 years of experience in general financial accounting and reporting
• Knowledge of general ledger and reporting software
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
• Experience in a fast-paced environment with the ability to meet firm deadlines
• Experience with SAP or similar ERP system is a benefit, not required
