Staff Accountant - P&C Licensed

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant - Property & Casualty (Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Complete Direct Bill and Agency Bill reconciliations, and post Direct Bill statements to client accounts
• Handle all facets of multiple property and casualty agency accounting functions on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
• Generate Monthly Balance Sheet and Income Statement and analyze monthly revenue and expense fluctuations

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, finance, or business-related field
• 1-3 years of relevant accounting experience in a P&C insurance brokerage environment
• Working knowledge of Applied EPIC and Hawksoft insurance agency management system preferred
• Prior experience with Business Central accounting software preferred
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future
