Staff Accountant, Revenue

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant, Revenue.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations related to revenue, deferred revenue, refunds, and chargebacks
• Support the monthly revenue close process, ensuring deadlines are met with accuracy and completeness
• Perform detailed transaction-level reviews to ensure revenue is recorded in accordance with U.S. GAAP (ASC 606)

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of accounting experience; public accounting is strongly preferred
• BA or BS degree in Accounting
• CPA track is strongly preferred
• Foundational understanding of U.S. GAAP; exposure to ASC 606 preferred
• Strong Excel skills and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite experience a plus)
