Staff Accountant - Revenue

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant - Revenue Accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Record and reconcile revenue and cost of goods sold (COGS) transactions in the general ledger
• Process and apply customer payments, investigating discrepancies or unapplied cash
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules related to revenue and COGS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered
• Strong understanding of GAAP and revenue-related accounting concepts
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
• Experience with ERP systems and accounting software preferred
