Staff Accountant - Revenue Specialist
Job Summary
Ensuring the accuracy and timely recognition of revenue, the remote Staff Accountant - Revenue Specialist will manage billing processes, evaluate refund requests, and support the Finance team while collaborating closely with advisors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with quarterly electronic billing for over 25,000 client accounts, including reviewing billable amounts and managing remittance processes
- Serve as a subject matter resource for billing and receivables inquiries, providing timely support and resolution for advisors and clients
- Identify opportunities to automate and improve billing and revenue-related processes to enhance accuracy and advisor experience
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Working knowledge of revenue recognition principles and GAAP accounting concepts
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting/accounts receivable experience
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel
- Experience with enterprise-grade accounting software is a plus
