Staff AI Cloud Engineer
Job Summary
To elevate engineering standards, the full-time Staff AI Cloud Engineer will collaborate with Engineering Managers and senior engineers to enhance architecture, technical design, and CI/CD practices while actively contributing to production code and complex initiatives in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Define and evolve architecture and engineering practices across multiple teams
- Lead technical designs, architecture reviews, and critical code reviews while building and shipping production systems
- Mentor engineers and improve CI/CD, testing, observability, and developer experience
Required qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in software architecture
- Experience as a founding engineer with scaling startups
- Strong expertise in AI systems, backend or distributed systems, and cloud architecture
- Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, Kubernetes, and major cloud platforms
- Practical understanding of modern AI systems and full-stack development
