Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of complex AI systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design of complex AI systems spanning personalization, conversational AI, and predictive modeling
• Architect scalable pipelines for real-time use cases like no-show risk scoring and personalized marketing
• Mentor engineers on ML best practices and collaborate with product and engineering leaders to define AI roadmaps

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in AI/ML engineering, with at least 1-2 years in a leadership or staff-level role
• Hands-on experience building AI systems in domains like NLP, forecasting, or engagement optimization
• Proven ability to deploy and scale real-time models, pipelines, and APIs
• Deep knowledge of MLOps, orchestration (Airflow, MLflow), and distributed training
• Backend development skills (Node.js, Java, or TypeScript) and experience with data platforms (Redshift, Snowflake)
