Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff AI Engineer to help build their platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect robust and scalable classical and AI-powered solutions, enhancing the code base's functionality and performance
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to translate product goals into actionable features while managing development sequencing
• Lead technical architecture decisions for AI features, ensuring a balance between research ambitions and production reliability

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of industry experience in software development, including roles as an individual contributor and mentor/lead
• Hands-on experience building production applications with large language models
• Deep understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Elasticsearch
• Proficiency in TypeScript and backend web development
• Experience managing software in cloud environments such as GCP, AWS, or Azure
