Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the technical direction for AI-powered products, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will design and own production LLM and agentic systems using TypeScript and Python on AWS, while mentoring team members and ensuring high-quality software delivery in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Set architecture patterns for AI-heavy systems and prevent architectural drift across multiple teams
• Design and manage production LLM and agentic systems, including prompt design and model migration strategies
• Establish AI quality, observability, and reliability standards for nondeterministic systems

Required qualifications

• M.S. / B.S. in Computer Science or related STEM discipline
• 9+ years of proven software engineering experience with production LLM/AI systems
• Mastery of software architecture for AI systems, including long-running agents and async orchestration
• Deep command of LLM integration and prompt/context engineering across multiple providers
• Expertise in TypeScript and Python, along with experience in AWS and data modeling on Snowflake and Postgres
