Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a Staff AI Engineer to join the Core AI team in a remote capacity, this full-time role will design and build core architecture for AI systems, set technical standards, and mentor senior engineers while addressing complex technical challenges across multiple product areas.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build the core architecture for AI systems, ensuring coherence across applications
• Set technical standards and evaluation frameworks for the organization, including CI/CD for model behavior
• Take ownership of complex technical problems, building end-to-end solutions without established playbooks

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience developing AI and Machine Learning systems in production
• Strong software engineering fundamentals with experience in designing evaluation infrastructure for LLM-based systems
• Proven ability to set technical direction and engineering standards at an organizational level
• Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, and advanced Prompt Engineering in production applications
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
