Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of AI/ML systems, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will own architecture decisions, drive model development, and contribute to technical leadership in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex ML/AI systems end-to-end, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Build and evolve scalable ML platforms and infrastructure to support model development and deployment
• Define AI architecture and engineering standards while mentoring junior engineers and driving high-stakes projects to production

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production
• Expertise in software engineering (Python or similar) with strong design sensibilities for scalable systems
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services and AWS GenAI offerings
• Proven track record of designing and shipping complex agentic systems in production environments
• Strong experience with AI frameworks, observability tools, and building RAG pipelines
