Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the design and delivery of AI/ML systems, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will own architecture decisions, drive solutions from research through production at scale, and contribute to technical leadership in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of complex ML/AI systems end-to-end, ensuring reliability and scalability
• Build and evolve scalable ML platforms and pipelines that support model development and deployment across teams
• Define AI architecture and engineering standards while mentoring junior and mid-level engineers

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years focused on AI/ML systems in production
• Expertise in software engineering (Python or similar) with strong design sensibilities for scalable systems
• Deep knowledge of cloud platforms, particularly AWS services and AWS GenAI offerings
• Proven track record in designing and shipping complex agentic systems in production environments
• Strong experience with AI frameworks, orchestration tools, and evaluation frameworks for LLM applications
