Staff AI Engineer

Job Summary

Owning the AI infrastructure layer, the full-time Staff AI Engineer will architect and operate agentic systems on AWS, evolve the AI knowledge platform, and design retrieval solutions while working remotely from Poland.

Key responsibilities

• Evolving the AI knowledge platform for internal tools and customer-facing capabilities
• Architecting agentic infrastructure that incorporates multi-step AI systems with cost governance
• Designing graph-based retrieval systems to enhance organizational knowledge accumulation

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2 years in production AI/LLM application systems
• Experience in advanced retrieval engineering, including hybrid search and query transformation
• Proficiency in Go, Python, or TypeScript, with the ability to quickly learn new languages
• Hands-on experience with AI workloads on managed cloud platforms like AWS Bedrock
• Familiarity with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and production observability for AI systems
