Staff AI Engineer (Audio)

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff AI Engineer (Audio) to build, tune, and deploy advanced audio deepfake detection models in remote client environments, collaborating closely with Research, Production Engineering, and Customer Success teams to ensure model robustness and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize ML/DL models for audio deepfake detection, ensuring reliability across various real-world conditions
• Partner with clients to understand their production environments and establish model performance criteria
• Monitor and report on model performance using data analytics tools, identifying trends and potential issues proactively

Required qualifications

• PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Signal Processing, or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
• 2+ years of experience building and deploying ML/DL models for AI products
• Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with ML frameworks such as PyTorch and JAX
• Solid understanding of audio processing fundamentals and model evaluation metrics
• Experience with large-scale training and benchmarking pipelines
