Staff AI Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Leading the architecture of AI infrastructure, the full-time Staff AI Platform Engineer will design and manage the integration of Amazon Bedrock, oversee the end-to-end retrieval pipeline, and implement robust security measures, all while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Architect agent orchestration and backend APIs for Amazon Bedrock integration
• Manage the retrieval data plane, optimizing the pipeline for ingestion, chunking, and storage
• Implement security protocols, including IAM roles and monitoring systems for autonomous agents

Required qualifications

• 8+ years in software and infrastructure engineering with a focus on backend development (Python or TypeScript preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock in production, including agent management and guardrails
• Proficient in containerized service deployment using ECS, EKS, or Lambda, with a strong CI/CD background
• Experience in data engineering, specifically building ingestion pipelines for unstructured data
• Strong expertise in the AWS ecosystem, including IAM, VPC networking, and infrastructure as code
