Staff AI Productivity Engineer

Job Summary

Focused on enhancing engineering productivity through AI tools, the remote Staff AI Productivity Engineer will build infrastructure, tooling, and documentation to optimize AI agent effectiveness across the codebase.

Key responsibilities

• Own the agentic development environment, ensuring agents operate effectively in cloud-based settings
• Build tooling integrations that connect AI agents with essential systems for software development and debugging
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation to support agent functionality and improve user experience

Required qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to quickly understand complex backend code
• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Proven experience in writing effective agent documentation and custom instructions to enhance agent output
• Track record of building developer tools or infrastructure that are actively used by engineers
• Comfortable working across the stack, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and application code
