Staff AI Productivity Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer - AI Productivity.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the agentic development environment, ensuring agents can operate in cloud-based environments and execute test suites
• Build tooling integrations that connect agents to necessary systems for software development and debugging
• Develop and maintain documentation and context for agents, enhancing their understanding and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Strong software engineering fundamentals with the ability to understand complex backend code quickly
• Deep hands-on experience with AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot
• Experience in writing effective agent documentation or context files that improve agent output
• Proven track record of building developer tools or infrastructure used by engineers
• Comfortable working across the stack, including CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and application code
