Job Summary

Staff Air Quality Specialist is a full-time, hourly position responsible for preparing air permit applications, supporting air emissions calculations, and assisting with regulatory research in a hybrid and/or remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare air permit applications for regulatory agencies and support air emissions calculations
  • Conduct regulatory research and assist with drafting technical sections for environmental documents
  • Track project tasks and deadlines while maintaining communication with clients and agency representatives
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferably chemical or mechanical) or environmental science with relevant experience
  • Two years of consulting experience in air quality areas such as permitting and compliance reporting
  • Working knowledge of relevant regulatory authorities and regulations, including GHG and Title V
