Staff Analytics Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Analytics Engineer, Subledger Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own dbt models for the financial subledger platform, including naming conventions and reusable patterns
• Implement data quality and controls in dbt, including tests and automated reconciliations
• Own end-to-end subledger data products and collaborate with Accounting/Financial Reporting to translate requirements into model specifications

Required Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on analytics engineering experience with production dbt projects
• Strong SQL and data modeling skills, with experience in building canonical datasets for finance reporting
• Experience operating data pipelines in a warehouse environment, preferably Snowflake
• Strong programming skills, preferably in Python, for building data tooling and automation
• Deep technical expertise in Snowflake, including architecture patterns and operational excellence
