Staff Analytics Engineer
Job Summary
As a full-time Staff Analytics Engineer, the successful candidate will architect scalable data pipelines and models, lead enterprise-wide data strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance data governance and accessibility in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Architect scalable data models and construct high-quality ELT pipelines using technologies like Airflow, DBT, and Databricks
- Design and launch self-serve analytics products that drive business outcomes and identify root causes of trends
- Lead technical initiatives and foster a culture of continuous learning and growth within the Analytics Engineering team
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of experience in data/analytics engineering with expertise in data architecture and pipelines
- Expertise with AWS, Databricks, Delta Lake, Airflow, dbt, and experience with BI tools like Looker or Sigma
- Strong understanding of data observability frameworks and experience implementing them at an enterprise level
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to leadership and stakeholders
- Independence and passion for innovation, seeking high-impact projects and continuous learning
