Staff Android Engineer

Job Summary

To support innovative financial solutions, the full-time Staff Android Engineer will design, develop, and maintain mobile applications, focusing on credit card features and user experience, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement mobile applications for financial services, ensuring seamless user experiences and complex onboarding flows
• Lead the architecture and development of reusable component libraries and integrate third-party banking services for secure account linking
• Modernize legacy code and establish frameworks to enhance engineering velocity and maintain system stability across multiple teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 7 years of experience in front-end native Android application development and architecture
• Proficiency in Android architecture patterns and cross-platform mobile development, including iOS with Swift and Objective-C
• Experience with mobile application performance optimization and software testing methodologies
• Demonstrated technical leadership and collaboration skills in cross-functional environments
