Job Summary

To support the modernization of insurance technology, the full-time Staff Application Platform Engineer will design, develop, and optimize secure and scalable systems while enhancing developer productivity in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Elevate developer productivity by creating tools that streamline common patterns
• Diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks across the platform
• Own projects from ideation to deployment, ensuring quality and impact

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in platform or backend engineering
• Deep knowledge of TypeScript and experience with Node.js, GraphQL, PostgreSQL, and AWS
• Proven ability to lead projects independently from architecture to production
• A track record of building secure and high-performance platforms
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical direction
