Staff Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Application Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security assessments, set direction, and respond to incidents
• Improve security architecture, set security standards, and share expertise
• Work on sample projects related to security patches, document security, and compliance frameworks

Required Qualifications:

• Proven experience as an Application Security Engineer or in a similar role
• Strong technical background with experience in full-stack development and cloud computing
• Proficiency in one or more OOP coding languages (Ruby, Python, Java, etc)
• Deep understanding of web application security principles and vulnerabilities
• Passion for leveraging technology to address social challenges
