Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo

Job Summary

Experienced developers will find a full-time salaried opportunity as a Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo, responsible for designing, developing, and supporting applications on the IBM Maximo platform while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex business challenges and translate them into effective Maximo-based solutions
• Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to deployment
• Build and support integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services, REST/SOAP, and Maximo Integration Framework

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5-7 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization
• Proficiency in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations
• Experience building complex BIRT reports and implementing workflow processes
• Solid understanding of database systems, particularly DB2, and familiarity with REST/JSON integrations
