Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo

Job Summary

To support a collaborative team focused on enterprise applications, the full-time Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo will analyze complex business challenges, design and develop applications on the IBM Maximo platform, and participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business challenges and translate them into effective Maximo-based solutions
• Design, develop, and support applications on the IBM Maximo platform, including integrations with enterprise systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and ensure quality through testing and documentation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5-7 years of experience, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization
• Proficiency in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations
• Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, workflows, and integration frameworks
• Experience building complex BIRT reports and working with REST/JSON integrations
