Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo

Job Summary

To support a collaborative team focused on enterprise applications, the full-time Staff Applications Developer - IBM Maximo will analyze complex business challenges, design and develop Maximo-based solutions, and participate in the software development lifecycle while working closely with cross-functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business challenges and translate them into effective solutions on the IBM Maximo platform
• Design, develop, and support applications, including integrations with enterprise systems using Web Services and Maximo Integration Framework
• Mentor teammates and maintain system documentation, ensuring quality through validation and testing processes

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with 8-12 years of related experience, or a Master's degree with 5-7 years, or a PhD with 2-4 years of experience
• Extensive experience with IBM Maximo, including implementation, configuration, and customization
• Proficiency in Python, Jython, JavaScript, SQL, and XML for automation and integrations
• Strong understanding of Maximo architecture, including workflows and integration frameworks
• Experience with complex BIRT reports and REST/JSON integrations across enterprise systems
