Staff Applied ML Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Applied ML Engineer, Rider.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the technical direction and execution of the CX Automation platform, including AI-driven decision-making and self-service workflows
• Architect and build scalable backend systems to automate high-volume rider issues and reduce manual support effort
• Partner with Product and CX Operations to translate support policies into executable automation logic

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional software engineering experience with production systems at scale
• Strong backend engineering experience in building reliable, scalable services and APIs
• Experience in building applied AI or automation systems in production
• Demonstrated ability to set technical direction and drive multi-quarter initiatives
• Proven judgment in designing systems with real-world constraints, including cost efficiency and customer trust
