Staff Applied Scientist Perception

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Applied Scientist, Perception.

Key Responsibilities:

• Explore, prototype, validate, and iterate new algorithms
• Optimize, productionize, and monitor/refine on-road performance for models
• Identify problems in the perception stack, initiate and lead new projects, and guide technology choices

Required Qualifications:

• PhD/MS in computer vision, machine learning, or related field with research publications or equivalent industry experience
• Expertise in areas such as object detection, segmentation, transformers, and tracking
• Track record of driving ML research projects from start to completion
• Strong programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Experience with deep-learning frameworks, deploying perception algorithms, and autonomous driving technologies
