Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Attorney - Contractor.

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with team to draft responses to borrower defense rule claims
Review and modify responses to ensure legal sufficiency and compliance
Work with internal teams to efficiently complete claim responses

Required Qualifications:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited ABA institution
Currently licensed to practice law in California with no record of discipline
Minimum of four years of experience as a staff attorney
Experience in handling regulatory matters, including CCPA and FERPA
Knowledge of current U.S. law governing higher education preferred
