Staff Automation Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled Staff Automation Engineer for a remote, full-time position, this role will design, develop, and enhance automation tools and tests to improve software development productivity and minimize errors.

Key responsibilities

• Own QA testing end-to-end for specific product teams or platform-focused projects
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Engineering to understand testing requirements and procedures
• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated tests to validate core application functionality

Required qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as an Automation Engineer with expertise in service layer testing and UI automation
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript, with experience in frameworks like Playwright
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; healthcare domain knowledge is a plus
• Experience with Docker and Git, along with a detailed understanding of application functions and testing protocols
