Staff Back-End Engineer

Job Summary

Seeking a full-time Staff Back-End Engineer to join the Claims Engine team remotely, where the engineer will build and maintain services for benefit estimate requests, develop claims adjudication integrations, and improve claims processing pipelines essential to healthcare claims processing.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain services that power 270/271 benefit estimate requests and responses
• Develop and support performant, large-scale claims adjudication integrations
• Own and improve claims processing pipelines for accuracy, reliability, and throughput

Required qualifications

• 4+ years building, owning, and maintaining backend services
• 2+ years writing Go
• Strong SQL skills, particularly with PostgreSQL
• Experience designing and building RESTful or gRPC APIs
• Experience with Docker/Kubernetes and Google Cloud Platform
