Staff Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Backend Engineer, AI Platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and evolve the backend architecture for AI-driven acquisition systems
• Own cloud architecture and improve system resilience and monitoring
• Support orchestration between AI agents and partner systems while building scalable backend services

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of backend engineering experience at a senior or staff level
• Deep expertise in Python backend development and experience with FastAPI or similar frameworks
• Significant experience with cloud infrastructure, ideally AWS or GCP
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and distributed systems in production
• Strong understanding of system performance, reliability, and scalability tradeoffs
